Process
I follow a very simple iterative approach to design that involves deep immersion in the experience of the person or people I am designing for. Feeling the user's pain is essential to finding a way to alleviate it.

To transition from feeling the pain to fixing it, I employ a multitude of techniques for analysis and ideation, including persona creation, journey mapping, empathy mapping, morphology mapping, and forced morphology matrix creation, followed by rapid visualization, rapid pretotyping, and iterative prototyping.

Seven Bridges: an intergenerational community
Lead a team of designers in creating an app-supported community to reduce the adverse effects of isolation in teens and aging adults by bringing them together to help each other with ADL's (activities of daily living). This project was one of eight finalists in the 2017-18 international Stanford Design Challenge for Longevity.
